Booking and cancellation
Your quote describes the work and total price. No VAT is charged: Harry Anderson is not VAT registered. Appointment dates are confirmed separately by us. Extra work or a changed scope requires a new quote and your agreement.
For a service contract made at a distance, you normally have 14 days from the day after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. To cancel, text or WhatsApp 07448 091009, email hello@berkeleyelectricians.co.uk, or write to Wanswell Court, Wanswell, Berkeley, Gloucestershire, GL13 9RT. A clear statement is sufficient; you can use: “I give notice that I cancel my electrical service contract, accepted on [date], reference [reference], name [name], address [address], date [date].”
If you expressly request work to start within that period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for work supplied before cancellation. If the agreed service is fully completed following your express request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right ends on completion. This does not affect your statutory rights if the service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill. Any applicable refund will be made within 14 days of notice, subject to lawful deductions for services requested and supplied.
These terms do not remove other statutory rights. Contact us first about any problem with the work. Payment is due on the date shown on an issued invoice; requesting or accepting a quote does not itself take payment.
